Instagram removes nude photo of Amanda Byram, citing 'policy violation'

Ah here.

FOLLOWING IN RIHANNA’S footsteps, Amanda Byram is the latest celebrity to fall victim to Instagram’s stringent policies regarding nudity.

The model and TV presenter, who is a proponent of #fitnotthin and #strongnotskinny, posted this (slightly NSFW) black-and-white shot of herself in the nip taken from this month’s Women’s Health.

She later shared the photo on Instagram, where it was promptly deleted.

As could be expected, the move caused outrage.

Previously, Instagram deleted photos from Rihanna’s account that exposed her nipple and deleted model Anja Rubik’s magazine account for violating their policy.

The website’s rules and regulations have helped prompt the #FreeTheNipple campaign, which aims to decriminalise the female body. Supporters of the movement include Cara Delevingne and Suki Waterhouse.
